FAIRMONT — The Fairmont Rotary Club has scheduled its annual auction for 6 p.m. Nov. 26.

The auction will take place at the Fairmont Heritage Center, located at 207 S. Main St.

Tickets are $8 per barbecue plate, with a $5 credit toward auction merchandise, services and cakes. There will be various door prizes and chances to win a U.S. gold coin, valued at $350.

The proceeds for the auction will go toward a variety of Rotarian projects, including community scholarships, public education supplies and various charities. The club’s obligation to Rotary International go toward eradicating polio, funding Alzheimer’s research and providing clean water to Third World countries throughout the world.
